The elaborate crown, jewellery, patterned garments and balanced composition are characteristic of Kathmandu Valley metalwork.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe sculpture is hollow-cast in bronze using the lost-wax method and finished by hand. Remains of original fire gilding survive across the surface, accompanied by natural wear and oxidation consistent with age.
