We want every purchase from Buddha-Statues.com to be handled clearly and fairly. Because many of our sculptures are antique, unique, heavy or fragile, return handling depends on the destination and the nature of the object.

EU Consumers: 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you generally have the statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, please contact us at sales@buddha-statues.com before returning the object. We will provide the return instructions and the appropriate return address.

Return Condition

The sculpture must be returned in the same condition in which it was received, together with any components, stands or accompanying material supplied with the object.

Antique and collectible objects naturally show age, wear, patina, old repairs and other condition characteristics. These features are described and photographed as accurately as possible and are part of the individual character of the object.

Return Shipping Costs

For a statutory withdrawal by an EU consumer, the direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the buyer unless we have expressly agreed otherwise.

For large, heavy or fragile sculptures, return transport can be substantial. Please contact us before arranging transport so that the object can be packed and returned safely.

Refunds

After a valid withdrawal, we refund the purchase price and, where required by applicable consumer law, the cost of the standard outbound delivery method. Additional costs resulting from an upgraded or specially requested delivery method are not refundable unless required by law.

We may withhold the refund until the returned object has been received, or until you provide evidence that it has been sent back, where permitted by applicable law.

Damaged or Incorrect Deliveries

If an object arrives damaged, or if you receive an incorrect item, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and include photographs of the object, packaging and shipping label. This helps us assess the transport damage and arrange the appropriate solution.

Your statutory rights regarding defective or non-conforming goods are not limited by this policy.

Customers Outside the European Union

For customers outside the European Union, return rights may differ depending on the destination country. Please contact us before returning an object. Any mandatory consumer rights under the law applicable to your purchase remain unaffected.

How to Request a Return

Email sales@buddha-statues.com with your order number, the object concerned and the reason for contacting us. Please do not send a sculpture back without first receiving return instructions, particularly for large, heavy or fragile works.
