A monumental Nepalese Green Tara in gilt bronze, standing 78 cm high and weighing 8.2 kg. The figure is modelled in an elegant tribhanga posture with elaborate jewellery, crown and finely worked garments, placing it firmly within the Newar sculptural tradition of the Kathmandu Valley.

Surface & Workmanship

The sculpture is hollow cast and extensively finished by hand. Chased decoration remains visible across the crown, jewellery and garments.
