An exceptionally large seated Himalayan Buddha with the right hand raised in Abhaya Mudra. The broad shoulders, monumental lotus base and substantial 41 kg mass give the sculpture the scale of a major temple image.
Surviving gilt traces remain in protected folds beneath a deep aged patina. The Ladakh attribution and 18th-century dating are based on the current stylistic assessment and are not presented as inscription-dated facts.

Antique condition with extensive gilt wear, patina, oxidation and age-related surface variation.
