Catalogue Note
A large Burmese standing Buddha with a documented 1969 marking, made in the continuing Mandalay-style tradition. Its pale face, bright yellow robe and extensive craquelure give the figure a distinctive late-20th-century character rather than the appearance of an earlier antique.

Surface & Dating
The white facial coating and yellow robe show a dense network of age-related cracks. A handwritten inventory/date marking survives on the lower area. We catalogue the piece as vintage 1969 and do not use the craquelure to imply 19th-century age.
Condition
Vintage condition with extensive craquelure, wear, small losses and normal movement of the wooden support. The original surface has been kept intact as part of the object's period appearance.
